The property was beautiful with charming rooms and a lovely garden. The location was great, being centrally located to visit all the nearby villages. The continental breakfast provided was simple but good.
The extra bed requested for our son was just a thin mattress on the floor. there were a lot of mosquitoes in the area and there was no electric repellent or spray available in the room.

Charming, spacious rooms with modern bathrooms. Beautiful grounds surround the 17th-century chateau. Impeccably clean property with a huge shower. Friendly host with helpful recommendations. Breakfast served with homemade yogurt and jams.

What a find!! Our bedroom was very charming and very big, the bathroom has a jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was simple but good. The home has a nice garden and the location is central to visit all the villages.
The jacuzzi bathtub in our room was not much use. I would have preferred a shower.

Friendly reception and helpful staff, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay. Conveniently close to main roads, yet surprisingly peaceful at night. Ideal base for exploring the stunning landscapes of the Maconnais region, including natural landmarks and historic churches. Our stay at this charming countryside B&B was a delightful experience. The spacious and comfortable rooms provided a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring the nearby wine regions. We especially enjoyed the quiet and serene setting, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a lily pond. The location was perfect for easily accessing both the Maconnais and northern Rhone areas. the delicious breakfasts served each day were a wonderful way to start our mornings.
While our overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the jacuzzi bathtub in our room was not very useful, as we would have preferred a shower option.

Our recent stay at a charming B&B in the south Burgundy wine region was delightful. The 17th-century chateau surrounded by beautiful grounds offered a picturesque setting for our visit. M. Jacques, the host, was incredibly hospitable and gave us excellent recommendations for local wineries to explore. The spacious and comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Despite a weak Wi-Fi signal in some areas of the guest rooms, we had a wonderful time at Gentilhommiere De Collonges. I highly recommend this B&B for a memorable experience.
